I walk alone, on these empty streets
No reassuring sounds, of shuffling feet

The drops of rain, beating against my face
Sleep walking, in a heavy daze

Hoping, wishing, the water washes away every thought
Erases all traces, memories; of what I once sought

  1. So much pain expressed in an eloquent manner. “Sleep walking, in a heavy daze.” I can picture it well. I can see myself there. Again. This is beautiful.

  2. Beautiful Poem! You are really good at this. You should consider making a Poem book!
