Loyalties wearing thin
Fidelity tossed in the bin

Love here is sold for cheap
Adding to the garbage heap

Expectations followed by inevitable disappointment
Empty minds adorning dazzling raiment

Relationships falling into shambles
Replete with lies and gambles

Fair weather friends
Disappearing around every bend

Feigning indifference,being oblivious
Struggling to overlook the obvious

It doesn’t matter I say
Maybe I’ll mean it one day.
